Basic employment requirements
To start working, you need a valid passport or European identity card, citizen service number (BSN), and a valid work/residence permit if you are not from EU/EEA or Switzerland.
Highly skilled migrant pathway
If you are a highly educated professional from outside the EU/EEA or Switzerland, you may qualify for highly skilled migrant status. Requirements include employment with an IND-recognized sponsor, sufficient income, and market-rate wages.
