I have been working in The Netherlands since 2010. When I started working I wasn’t aware of the ruling and didn’t request assistance from my employer to apply for it. I can see
now though that I would have met the application criteria. Can I still apply for the ruling?
If you met the application criteria at the time you moved to The Netherlands in 2010, then you can still apply. Our Expat Desk can assist you and your employer with this application. The ruling is granted for a maximum of 8 years and if you are granted the ruling, this period will be reduced by the time you have already spent in The Netherlands.
